I had planned to create videos for my new album. Although it was January, the weather was warmer than usual. On a spontaneous Saturday morning, my daughter, wife, and I decided to shoot the video on the way to Beypazarı, a small but charming historical city. Along the route to Beypazarı, the rock hills were magnificent and charming, sometimes reminiscent of the surface of Mars. Unfortunately, this is a sign of climate change, with scientists warning that Anatolia is gradually becoming a desert each passing year.
My daughter and wife got into the car, and we set out to find a suitable landscape. After driving an hour from our home, we settled on a hill where we could shoot the video. The climb was easy, and along the way, we noticed the footprints of dogs on the ground. We were worried a bit that we might encounter wild stray dogs. But we managed to proceed.
We spent almost two hours there, having a really good time. We filmed using my Sony ZV-E10 and edited the videos with Adobe Premiere Pro, without the need for any other special equipment. It was a modest family video production!
After shooting the videos, we decided to head to Beypazarı for dinner and sightseeing. The food was fabulous. I highly recommend visiting this charming city and exploring the surrounding landscape.
